Get to Know Criminal Defense Attorney Chuck Gorian

As a Riverside criminal defense attorney with more than 10 years of experience, Chuck Gorian is passionate about defending the rights of the criminally charged. His enthusiasm for practicing law began in college when he fought a traffic ticket and won. He had never experienced anything like it before and knew that he wanted to arm himself to help people who found themselves in similar situations. "I knew what it felt like to feel vulnerable, and I felt wrongfully accused," says Attorney Gorian.

Since that day, Mr. Gorian has been doing everything he can to further excel in his practice. Getting his legal education from the renowned National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia is one of the most influential aspects of his career. Very few attorneys are asked to attend and the two-week trial practice college is rigorous, taught by some of the premier defense attorneys in the nation.

"I fall back on the skills I learned there," says Mr. Gorian, "And you can't argue with the results that those techniques get. I fall back on that training on every case." It is these kind of proven results that make Mr. Gorian the successful attorney he is today.

As a multi-faceted law firm, Hanson, Gorian, Bradford & Hanich is comprised of some of the most driven and dedicated attorneys in the country. This is evidenced by the access Mr. Gorian's clients have to him. "Every one of my clients have my personal cell phone number, giving them access to me 24/7." He is willing to drop everything to answer his clients' questions immediately by phone call or text.

Delivering Results, One Case at a Time

It's about more than just being available, though. It's about delivering when it counts. And if Mr. Gorian can do anything, he can deliver. He thinks back in particular to a case involving an attempted murder. When the district attorney offered a sentence of upwards of 50 years in prison, Mr. Gorian knew he could do better than that.

"The DA was painting the picture that my client was a monster, and I couldn't let that happen… After trial, the jury found him not guilty of everything except pointing the gun at the kids… He ended up doing about four years in prison, when he was basically facing the rest of his life in prison." These kind of results aren't just a one-time occurrence for Mr. Gorian – they happen time after time.

He believes that it is these results that set him apart from other attorneys. "It's my ability to get done what needs to get done…I am totally honest with where I think the case will end up, and 99% of the time, I'm right," he says.

Although many clients are looking for answers that will make them feel good, these answers aren't always grounded in truth. Mr. Gorian is committed to staying honest with his clients while fighting for the best possible outcome considering the circumstances.

At the end of the day, it's all about what he can do for the people that knock on the firm's door. "The most rewarding aspect of my job is being able to help families in completely desperate times," Mr. Gorian noted.

At the end of the day, it's all about what he can do for the people that knock on the firm's door. "The most rewarding aspect of my job is being able to help families in completely desperate times," Mr. Gorian noted.

That statement sums up Mr. Gorian's practice better than anything else could. He doesn't see his clients as mere numbers or statistics – to him, these are real individuals facing real life problems. And if he can provide a solution, it's been a successful day on the job.
